time for planting!

Everyone has been asking me if it's ok to plant now...and according to an informal poll I conducted with local nurseries, spring has SPRUNG in the Pacific NW and it is indeed time to get those rhodies, new trees and other lovely flowering things in the ground! Our recent relatively sunny and warm winter months have brought early buds and blooms already, and according to the experts at Bakerview Nursery and The Garden Spot, "nature knows what it's doing" and anything planted now should be ok, unless we have a long hard freeze between now and April, which is not expected. So plant away, happy gardeners...and of course, if we can help you, give us an email or phone call.
