Rose & Birdseed Labyrinth Planned for Kale House Anniversary

All are welcome to join us for this open, public celebration in Everson on June 26th and 27th.

You are cordially invited to help celebrate the 15th anniversary of Kale House. Please bring a friend and join us for a delightful garden party on Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, 27th, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Planned activities include guided tours of the gardens and B&B at 11am and 2pm daily, an open labyrinth walk and labyrinth presentations and more. Garden-related art, quilts and plants will be offered for sale by Kale House owners Bonnie & Cori Litorja, Back Lane Gardens, Farmhouse Flowers Nursery, Gardenman Art Company and The Laughing Flower Labyrinth & Landscape Co. Light refreshments will be served throughout the two-day event.

Global Talk Radio Program Features LFLLC

Myra Smith will be a featured guest on the global talk radio program "Labyrinths in the News" this month.

The weekly show, hosted by Christiana Brinton, takes place June 14, 2010 from 3:30 p.m.- 4:15 p.m. PST. Myra will discuss her work with labyrinths in Bellingham and Whatcom County, WA and answer listener questions starting at 4:00 p.m.

Free Labyrinth & Myth Workshop Offered

A free Labyrinth Workshop: "Myth, Story and the Labyrinth: Awakening to New Growth" with Advanced Labyrinth Facilitator Nancy Ayer, MA, is scheduled for Friday, June 18th, 2010, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church Parish Hall, Eastsound, Orcas Island, WA, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

There is no fee for the workshop (donations accepted for upkeep of labyrinth on the lawn), but we would like to have an idea of how many will be joining us, so please call or email and let us know if you will be there. 50 Labyrinths from 50 States in 50 Days

Starting June 1st, 2010, The Laughing Flower Labyrinth & Landscape Co. began featuring "Labyrinths from Alabama to Wyoming" - with information about a different labyrinth each day from each of the 50 United States on its Facebook page.

Click on the Facebook button below to join in for 50 days of labyrinths. So far we've seen labyrinths from Dothan, Alabama and Juneau, Alaska. So it's not too late to catch up on the fun!

If you have a labyrinth from your state that you would like featured, please email a photo, description and location to myra@laughingflowerlabyrinth.com. We'll be going in alphabetical order and need only a day's notice to post your request.

Feel free to post your own photos or comments any time! Input is always welcomed and appreciated, as the page strives to be place for sharing labyrinth and gardening tips, events, and quotes.
